"How are you?" and "A" are created for the project Augmented Reality Public Art Initiative. I want to use the features of Augmented Reality (AR) to make site specific works. In addition, techniques of socially engaged art are used. In 1997, Ronald Azuma mentions AR has three characteristics in his paper "A Survey of Augmented Reality": 1) combines real and virtual 2) interactive in real time 3) registered in 3-D. I started to think about what are the interesting combinations of virtual and real reality, what kind of things might not exist in reality or not allowed in reality, such as dreams, ghosts, concepts, anti-authoritarian actions , things that happened before and in the future, etc. I am interested in exploring the history of one of the venues: Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre and exploring the perception of another venue: Hang Seng Management College in these 2 works: "How are you?" and "A". 今次為擴增實境公共藝術計劃創作的兩件作品「你好嗎？」和「A」，主要思考如何運用擴增實境（AR）的媒體特徴，並配合展出地方的在地性，加上社會交往式的藝術手法去發展作品。Ronald Azuma於1997年在他的論 文”擴增實境概論 "談到AR有三項特點：結合虛擬和真實的實境、即時互動和三維空間。我由思考虛擬和真實的實境可以有甚麼有趣的組合開始，甚麼是現實環境不存在或不容許的，例如夢境、鬼怪、概念、反建制的、以前和將來發生的事情等等。今次公共藝術的其中一個大會選址是香港文物探知館，我比較有興趣通過作品去發掘這個地方的歷史及另一個選址恒生管理學院的概念。詳情請看作品連結:
